Vegan in Seattle

Share this:

On my last visit to Seattle, Washington 12 years ago, there were just a handful of vegan restaurants. Vegan donuts? Yes. (Yay!) A 100% vegan store? Yes. (Yay!) But just a few vegan restaurants. Of course as vegans, we’re never at risk of starving, but darnit, it’s just so much better when we can enjoy delicious, beautiful, creative food in a restaurant and not have to pick the only vegan-izable thing on the menu. Thank you to all of the restauranteurs who made this trip an edible adventure. Take a listen for my favorite places in Port Townsend and Seattle.

Donating = Loving

For over twenty years, my work and podcast have remained free (and ad-free) and vibrant thanks to support from listeners, followers, and readers. I have no staff, no interns, and no assistant. What you see (and hear and watch) is a one-woman labor of love that is also my life and my livelihood. If this labor has impacted your life in the past year (or the past decades), please consider aiding its sustenance by becoming a patron or by making a one-time donation. Your support makes all the difference.
